The most powerful engine is the supercharged 5.2-liter, high-output V8 that generates 700 horsepower and 640 pound-feet of torque. Shoppers can also choose a hybrid powertrain with an electric motor.

This option has a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter EcoBoost® V6 engine that collaborates with the electric motor to churn out 430 horsepower and 570 pound-feet of torque.

The new Ford F-150 features a 10-speed automatic transmission and rear-wheel drive. Some higher trims have a four-wheel drive that improves traction when road conditions are challenging. The F-150 has a towing capacity of up to 14,000 pounds, depending on the model. The payload capacity for this top-performing truck is 3,325 pounds.

The hybrid Ford F-150 with rear-wheel drive returns an EPA-estimated 25 mpg in the city and 25 mpg on the highway. The 2.7-liter EcoBoost® V6 gets 20 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway when paired with rear-wheel drive.
