2025 Ford Escape

The 2025 Ford Escape has five trims: the Active, ST-Line, ST-Line Select, Platinum, and ST-Line Elite. The Active trim features LED reflector headlamps, 17-inch Shadow Silver aluminum wheels, a manual liftgate, and dual chrome exhaust tips. Upgrades on the ST-Line include a black mesh grille with ST badging and 18-inch machined-face aluminum wheels. Distinctive 19-inch machine-faced aluminum wheels with black-painted pockets and a specially designed grille set the ST-Line Select apart. The Platinum trim incorporates a chrome grille, 19-inch premium wheels, and LED fog lights, while the ST-Line Elite boasts 20-inch premium wheels. A panoramic Vista Roof with a power shade and an LED light bar are available on all models.

The base 1.5-liter three-cylinder EcoBoost engine, standard in Active and ST-Line trims, delivers 180 horsepower and 199 pound-feet of torque. The ST-Line Select, ST-Line Elite, and Platinum trims models feature a more powerful 2.0-liter four-cylinder EcoBoost engine producing 250 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque. Ford pairs both engines with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The 1.5-liter EcoBoost engine accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in 7.7 seconds, while the 2.0-liter EcoBoost achieves the same sprint in 5.9 seconds. Towing capabilities vary by powertrain, with the 2.0-liter EcoBoost leading the pack at 3,500 pounds when equipped with the Class II trailer tow package. The 1.5-liter EcoBoost can tow up to 2,000 pounds. All trims feature selectable drive modes, including Normal, Eco, Sport, Slippery, and Deep Snow/Sand. The Class II trailer tow package includes a trailer hitch, wiring harness, and sway control functionality.

The Active and ST-Line trims have an 8-inch digital instrument cluster, while higher trims feature a larger 12.3-inch display for a more immersive driving experience. Every trim includes a 13.2-inch center touchscreen with SYNC 4 technology, offering wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility for seamless smartphone integration. The Platinum trim features premium leather-trimmed seats, while ST-Line trims incorporate sport-contoured seats with red stitching for a sporty aesthetic. Second-row seats slide to adjust legroom and fold flat to maximize cargo space, providing 37.5 cubic feet behind the second row and expanding to 65.4 cubic feet with seats folded. Dual-zone automatic temperature control enhances comfort for all passengers, and heated front seats are available across most trims, ensuring a cozy ride in colder climates. Ambient lighting in higher trims adds a premium touch, elevating the cabin's ambiance.

Ford Co-Pilot360 comes standard on all trims, incorporating pre-collision assist with automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, forward collision warning, and dynamic brake support. The system also includes a blind-spot information system with cross-traffic alert, lane-keeping system, auto high-beam headlamps, and a rearview camera for added safety. ST-Line Select and higher trims add adaptive cruise control with stop-and-go functionality for a smoother driving experience in traffic. The Platinum and ST-Line Elite trims benefit from Active Park Assist 2.0, which automates parallel and perpendicular parking maneuvers.
