Ford's 2018 Mustang GT: Considerate Power

When you drive the 2018 Ford Mustang GT, you'll experience the power of a 5.0-liter Coyote V8 engine. That's 460 horsepower; more than enough to satisfy even the most power hungry of drivers.

Ford knows however, that power isn't good for every situation. The roar of the GT's V8 engine, for instance, might be a bit much if you're leaving home early or driving through your peaceful neighborhood. Thankfully, the automaker has added some new features to the GT model to help you remain a good neighbor while you enjoy your car.

The new Quiet Start and Quiet Exhaust modes allow the driver to reduce the volume of the GT's engine. Easy to switch on and off, the Quiet options close the valves on the GT's engine. This minimizes noise pollution, so you can be respectful of your neighbors until you reach more appropriate roads. If you want, you can even set up custom time frames during which the car's Quiet modes will trigger automatically. That way you don't even have to think about them.

Come on down to Courtesy Ford in Altoona, PA. We can tell you more about the 2018 Mustang, its 2017 predecessor, and show you around our inventory of new Ford cars.
